The Kannada Film Producers Association Election supposed to take place already has been deferred. As there are a few of the associations headed by Basanth Kumar Patil seeking election whether conducting election or not is referred to the legal cell says secretary of the association Soorappa Babu.
 
As of now Munirathna Naidu continues as President of KFPA and K Manju referred as next President of KFPA seems to be at a distance. After legal opinion the next course of action will be taken says Soorappa Babu.
 
Meanwhile the KFPA has issued insurance cards to over 250 persons in its second batch, It is Rs.3 lakhs limit health card. Umesh Banakar who is ill has used complete Rs.2 lakh earlier card for his multiple problems. The KFCC has given Rs.1 lakh for him. The KFPA has renewed the card of Umesh Banakar for Rs.3 lakhs.
